JMCC is committed to upholding ethical publishing and originality. It utilizes two forms of plagiarism checks: AI-generated content and textual copying.
1- Textual Copying
JMCC prohibits:
- Copying text, figures, tables, or ideas without citation
- Inadequate paraphrasing
- Duplicate or overlapping publications
- Self-plagiarism of significant previously published material
- Similarity limits:
- Maximum 20% total similarity
- No more than 5% from a single source
2- Consequences
Violations may result in:
- Request for revision
- Manuscript rejection
- Retraction after publication
- Temporary or permanent submission ban
- Notification of the author’s institution
